About NIELIT B-Level Course

The B-Level Course conducted by NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology) is an advanced program in computer applications and information technology, equivalent to a Master’s Degree in Computer Applications (MCA) from a recognized university in India.

It is designed to develop high-level IT professionals who can take up system analysis, design, software development, networking, and management responsibilities in the IT industry. The course builds upon the foundational knowledge of the A-Level Course and expands into more advanced and specialized areas of computing.

Objectives of the B-Level Course

Course Structure

The B-Level course consists of two semesters (for A-Level qualified candidates) or five semesters (for direct entry students). It includes:

  • Core and Elective theory papers
  • Practical sessions and lab-based learning

  • Viva-voce and assignments for evaluation
Eligibility Criteria
  • A-Level Qualified candidates can directly join the B-Level course.
  • Graduates in any discipline (preferably with Mathematics) can also apply.
  • Good programming and analytical skills are recommended for success.
